Cambrian College has Academic Success Advisors to help students to navigate the services offered at Cambrian, identify individual education, career, and life goals, and develop a plan to reach one's goals. Additionally, students can meet with an advisor if they are in conflict with an instructor, are on academic probation, are considering leaving their program, or have concerns with their courses.

Cambrian College’s Residence Services offers traditional and townhouse style accommodations for up to 677 students at its main campus. Applying for residence operates on a first-come, first-served basis until maximum capacity is reached. Traditional (dormitory) style residence includes 2 private bedrooms, a shared washroom and a shared kitchenette. Townhouse style includes 6 private bedrooms, 2 washrooms, a full kitchen and a shared living space. Building amenities include:
All rooms come furnished and include internet access. Townhouse style accommodations include cable television access. Residence rates vary depending on room and building selection. Meal plans are an additional, optional cost and operate on a declining meal based and flex dollar system. Payment plans are available for residence fees.
Barrier-free rooms are available for students requiring special accommodations. Students who require special accommodations must provide details on the Medical, Accessibility and Special Consideration section of the residence application.

Greater Sudbury Transit is comprised of buses. Full-time students at Cambrian College are eligible to purchase a discounted 31 day pass. Schedules are provided for every transit route that Greater Sudbury Transit provides.
Greater Sudbury Transit offers accessible features on their conventional transit such as low floors, wheel chair ramps, priority seating, and automated stop systems.
GOVA Plus Specialized Transit provides door-to-door transit services for person with disabilities, who are unable to the conventional transit. Users who require a support person are able to apply for a support person pass, which allows Support Persons to travel free of charge.
