First Nations Technical Institute (FNTI) partners with several Ontario colleges and universities to deliver culturally-rich post-secondary programs. First Nations Technical Institute is also developing independent FNTI programs that take place on its campus in Tyendinaga or online.

Support Services Available

Mental Health Supports

FNTI students are able to access counselling sessions with an Indigenous mental health professional.

Student Success

Student success facilitators are responsible for enhancing academic success and the student experience. They advise students with respect to academic progression, and assist with student needs by acting as a liaison with faculty and support services in order to propose and implement solutions.

Cultural Support

Each program has a dedicated cultural advisor committed to preserving a way of life based on Indigenous values including spirituality, sacredness, reciprocity, social responsibility, and education. Advisors help to integrate Indigenous cultural factors that protect the health and well-being of students.

Residence and Housing

First Nations Technical Institute does not provide on campus housing. For questions about housing options, please reach out to First Nations Technical Institute directly.
